Hi! Thanks for visiting Bikesparx. I'm Mark Wilson, and I've been working in the bike trade since 2012. I was lucky enough to be living in California at the time, and took the US equivalent of Cytech Level 2 over there - UBI's 'Certified Bicycle Technician' qualification.
I worked closely with one of America's best mountain bike mechanics, Joe Binatena (thanks Joe!), and, on return to the UK, developed my skills working on road bikes and children's bikes.
When the opportunity to start working for myself came up, I took it - and that brings us up to date! I'm a keen road cyclist and triathlete, and my ethos is simple: I'll look after your bike as carefully as I would my own.
