FREE BIKE CHECK

A complimentary check is offered on every bike that is booked in.

 

Basically an "M-check" is performed. Wheels are checked for trueness and for play in the bearings; the tyre condition is also noted. The cockpit area is checked over for loose bolts/bars or headset. The chain is checked for wear, and an inspection of the rest of the drive-train is made. Saddle and seat post security is checked. Brake function and pad wear are also checked.

 

Where issues are noted, I'll talk to you about my recommendations and any costs (labour or parts) before any further work is carried out

 

Unfortunately, a free bike check is not available as a single option for collection - this service is provided when you book your bike in at the BikeSparx workshop and is also delivered as a matter of course before any service or repair work.
